Values

We see ourselves as a living network of church movements and church networks, united in fellowship and shaped by shared vision. While we are structured as a corporation, this framework is not an end in itself—it simply serves as a tool to carry and strengthen the common values of BFP Global.

In early 2013, the BFP executive board in Germany identified six guiding points to chart our course and inspire our movement into the future.

1. SPIRIT LED

The BFP lives its calling as a spiritual movement. Our deepest desire is to preserve and promote in our personal lives and in our churches the energizing work of the Holy Spirit. We pray for the baptism of the Spirit and promote the communication of spiritual experience. We seek the supernatural dimension.

2. EMPOWER LEADERS

We empower and support pastors and leaders to build healthy churches capable of multiblying themselves. As BFP, we are a church movement - but also a ministry community in which we honor and value one another.

3. STRENGTHEN CHURCHES

We strengthen and support local churches in their mission to spread the gospel. They are encouraged to do their ministry in dependence and trust in God. We place the preaching of Christ at the center.

4. CHURCH PLANTING

We are continually planting new churches as it is our goal that in every town and city in Germany there is a church that takes God's Word as a measure and seeks His presence.

5. MISSION AND EVANGELISM

We promote an evangelistic and missionary attitude on all levels. People in Germany and around the world should hear the good news of Jesus Christ. This spreading of the Gospel is done through word and deed.

6. TOGETHER

We actively create an environment where people and churches from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds can thrive together. We shape BFP-Global as a dynamic movement that offers space for vital congregations from diverse backgrounds, including culture, language, age structure, and style.
